HLD Wins Mercury Silver Excellence Award
3.25.2005 - Harrison Leifer DiMarco, the NOW agency, has been honored with a 2004 Silver Excellence Award in the 18th Annual Mercury Awards Competition. HLD's winning entry was a CD-ROM for Intelli-Check, Inc., a leader in advanced identification and document verification systems.
The CD presentation begins with an overview of Intelli-Check's advantages as a solution to today's needs for better identity and security measures, followed by an interactive segment that uses a cast of three characters to supply detailed information for Intelli-Check's three main audiences: Visitor Access Management; Age Verification; and Fraud and Loss Prevention. Each character speaks to a specific market segment. "We were selected for this award by over 100 industry leaders, from 42 agencies and corporations around the world," said HLD Partner and Chief Creative Officer Ed Brennan. "It truly is an honor, especially bearing in mind the first-rate organizations up for Mercury awards this year."
Eric Berrios, HLD Vice President of Interactive Services, conceived the idea for the CD as a marketing tool to generate awareness for Intelli-Check, prompting viewers to watch a more detailed online sales presentation. Art direction was provided by Art Director Andy St. Angelo, copy was written by Creative Director David Rockwell, and programming/production was provided by Interactive Producer Greg Rohman.
